Olive Oil and Olives: The surrounding areas of Antalya are dotted with olive groves, and local production of olive oil is a tradition. The oil is known for its quality and flavour; various olives are also prepared and sold.
Black Tea: Turkish tea is a kind of black tea grown on Turkey's eastern Black Sea coast. The powder is brewed with roasted black tea and served in distinctive small glasses known as "thin waist." The tea is processed using an oxidation method, so boiling water is necessary to brew it successfully.
Honey: The region's diverse flora contributes to the production of various types of honey, including pine honey, which is quite distinctive to the area.
Herbs and Spices: The region's rich biodiversity allows for the cultivation of various herbs and spices, which are used locally and sold to visitors.
Local Wines: The Antalya region, with its favourable climate, also produces local wines, utilizing both indigenous and international grape varieties to create unique blends.
Turkish Delight: Turkish Delight or Lokum is a family of confections based on a gel of starch and sugar. Premium varieties consist largely of chopped dates, pistachios, hazelnuts or walnuts bound by the gel; traditional varieties are often flavoured with rosewater, mastic gum, bergamot orange, or lemon.
Turkish Hammam Soap: Turkish hammam soaps are made with pure olive oil. During the weeks-long boiling process, the oil reacts with acid and water to form a thick soap. Herbal extracts are added at the end of the process, and the mixture is poured into large trays after being mixed.
Turkish Coffee: Turkish coffee is a coffee prepared in a cezve using very finely ground coffee beans without filtering.
