Prof Dr Cemal Firat Plastic Surgeon

Professor Dr. Cemal Fırat completed his medical degree at İnönü University in 2001. He commenced his specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same university in 2002 and completed his residency as a specialist doctor in 2007, subsequently serving successfully in the same clinic. In 2007, he was appointed as a plastic surgery specialist at Yozgat State Hospital to fulfil his mandatory service, where he served until 2009. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at İnönü University in 2009.

Between 2010 and 2011, he served as an Assistant Professor and Medical Lieutenant at Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA), before returning to his duties at İnönü University. After completing his academic work, he successfully passed the Associate Professorship exam in May 2013 and obtained his title.

To date, he has mentored seven specialist doctors and supervised the theses of two. He has published approximately 30-40 international articles and 50 national articles and papers. From 2013 to 2016, he served as the editor of the Medical Faculty journal and held administrative roles such as the coordinator for fifth-year medical education and clinical training.

He continues to serve as the responsible physician of the Burn Unit, has authored chapters in various books, and participated in many congresses, courses, and training sessions both domestically and internationally. He has received certified training in almost every area related to his field, including Ministry of Health-approved certifications in mesotherapy, ozone therapy, PRP, and CGF applications.

He provides services to numerous patients from various parts of Turkey, particularly Antalya, and abroad, making him a preferred physician with 23 years of experience nationally and internationally.
